In August of the year 2001 I left Canada, my home and native land, and relocated myself to Galway in the Republic of Ireland. Here are some of the photographs of Ireland, taken mostly during the first two years of my four and a half year adventure in Ireland.

Books by Cathbad

Recently I decided to pursue a career as an author of non-fiction books on spirituality, philosophy, and related themes. So far two of my works have been published: "Dangerous Religion" and "The Mysteries of Druidry". Here you will find a synopsis, some reviews and endorsements, and purchase information for each title.

Druidry

This is the oldest and most popular part of this web site: the Guide to contemporary Druidism. Druidism is the ancient Celtic religion which holds the Earth and the environment as sacred, and promotes a morality based on truth, honour, strength, and justice.

Essays and Articles

This part of the web site houses a group of essays and articles on various themes to do with Druidry and environmental spirituality, as well as social and political opinions and some 'old' articles from quite a few years ago!
